Our People Know People

CDR Assessment Group’s team has helped thousands of people dramatically improve their careers – and their businesses results.

Wasting no time in turning their vision into realty, in 1998, Nancy E. Parsons and Kimberly R. Brinkmeyer, Ph.D., co-authored, the break-through CDR 3-Dimensional Assessment Suite® and introduced these remarkable tools to the executive development market. Since that time, others have tried to replicate, but none come close to their accuracy and scope.

A Powerful Mix: Practical, Original, Ground-Breaking Expertise

Parsons brings a highly accomplished track record in human resources management, organizational/ leadership development, and assessment applications experience to the partnership. Brinkmeyer adds her industrial/organizational psychology, leadership, and client services expertise to the team, specializing in personality and performance assessment measures. Together, they bring more than 40 years of leadership and consulting experience.

NANCY E. PARSONS

Nancy Parsons is the co-founder of CDR Assessment Group and is a true pioneer dedicated to shattering traditional methods for developing leaders. In 1998, she co-authored, along with CDR co-founder Kimberly R. Brinkmeyer, Ph.D., the break-through CDR 3-Dimensional Assessment Suite®. These coaching tools reveal a leader’s: character, risk factors, and driver & reward needs. Together they also developed the robust 360 Leader Scan™.

Additionally, Nancy is a master coach who has provided developmental feedback and support to more than a thousand leaders and executives from worldwide organizations. She also provides certification training for practicing executive coaches to prepare them to effectively utilize the CDR 3-D Suite as a key coaching feedback tool.

Parsons’ background spans over 25 years specializing in: leadership/executive development and coaching, personality and motivational assessments, training executive coaches, succession planning, organizational development, strategic HR planning, performance management systems (360s), quality, training and development, and human resources management. Prior to devoting the last decade of her career to leadership development consulting and assessment development, she served as the Director of HR for a petroleum pipeline organization having responsibilities for a 13-state operating area, which sported five bargaining units.

Nancy has provided services for a wide range of global clients and industries, from Fortune 100s to small professional consulting/coaching firms. Industries served by Nancy through CDR include: automotive, banking, agriculture, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, technology, medical, insurance, transportation, research, medical supply, manufacturing, food service, education, retail, financial, publishing, consulting services, and communications.

Nancy is a straight shooting, dynamic professional who thrives on challenging the status quo. Executives find her openness refreshing, her business knowledge and practical problem solving beneficial, and her warmth and sense of humor to be a great mix of attributes in a coach. Colleagues describe Nancy as:

Having great entrepreneurial spirit that is infectious.
  Being an enthusiastic, visionary
An activated cysmotite, able to leap tall mountains

Nancy is married to William C. Parsons, MD, and has four amazing children (Katie 23, Mathew 22, Angela 21 and Andrew 17). When she’s not shaking things up (productively, of course) with clients, she spends her free time watching her kids play competitive and collegiate soccer, entertaining her precious twin Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (Walter & Lucy), traveling, antiquing, painting, and going to Jazzercise to shake off the excess energy.
